The first task was to establish our strategy: what types of users fell into which priority category, when to end the flow, and what messaging to send them.

I was in charge of creating all scripts, email and text copy including graphic attachments. All had to be updated on a weekly basis to keep it fresh and enticing.

We honed in on personalized messaging and recommendations that resulted in increased sales by 10x within our first quarter.

However, I conducted weekly progress reports to show analytics team-wide informing everyone of their KPI’s and facilitating collaboration.

As our numbers grew, it was necessary to start managing accounts on a personal level. Our sales team went from recruiting to becoming personal assistants to customers.

My priority was to create User tiers, assign each User to a tier, and then determine how often to send them information*, in what format (text, email, call), and what would be sent to them.

*I also created the content we sent to our Users.

The Tier System:

  1. Orders Delivered Users

  2. Placed Orders Users

  3. Product In Cart Users

  4. No Orders Post 1-Week Sign-Up

  5. Less Interested Users
